Jennie Ä: Hi Gitte! I've been thinking so much about you lately since we had this concert right here in Oscar Fredrik. The repertoire included several songs that we sang and played with you. We are the world and Imagine, Dona nobis and so on... What a start in life you gave us all with music. Music and performing have always been with me ever since. You taught us how to behave and sent us nice messages about life right from the start. I am so grateful for everything you taught me.

ABOUT THE MUSIC SCHOOL

This music school, located in Masthugget in Gothenburg, was founded in 1972 by me, 

Gitte Hagstedt Dickson, who is also the school's teacher.

The music school provides lessons to children from 4 years old, adolescents and adults. 

Instruction is currently offered in the following instruments:

Piano, Guitar, Flute, and Vocals. I'm still retired, but on a small scale. 

The teaching takes place according to my own methodology and according to my own teaching material in the form of: 

Music play (finger games, etc.), music games (memory games, note - card games, etc.), different musical styles, ear training, play by sheet music, music theory, harmony, improvisation and simple composition. My music is also complemented by other people's music and the student can come up with their own wishes for pieces of music, which I think is very important.
